By accessing or using Bridge 2 Hearts ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all terms, you may not access or use the Service. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bridge 2 Hearts.
2. Description of Service
Bridge 2 Hearts is a digital tribute platform that allows users to create, manage, and share tributes honoring loved ones. The Service includes tribute creation tools, timeline features, tribute systems, Connection Hubs, and community features.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time with reasonable notice to users.
3. User Accounts
- You may create an account using Google or email and password
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must provide accurate and current information
- You may not create accounts for deceptive or malicious purposes
- One person may maintain multiple tributes under a single account
4. User Content
Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you upload to Bridge 2 Hearts, including photographs, text, stories, and other media. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, store, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.
Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you upload and agree that:
- You have the right to share all content you upload
- Content does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights
- Content is not defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable
- Content does not violate any applicable law or regulation
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Create tributes for living individuals without their consent
- Upload misleading, fraudulent, or harmful content
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users
- Distribute spam, malware, or unauthorized advertising
- Attempt to access another user's account or data
- Reverse engineer or interfere with the Service's operation
- Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful
6. Tribute Privacy
Tributes can be set as public or private by their creators. Public tributes are accessible to anyone with the tribute link. Private tributes are only accessible to the tribute creator. We respect the privacy settings chosen by our users.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, features, code, and branding, is the intellectual property of Bridge 2 Hearts. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without express written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
Bridge 2 Hearts is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
While we strive to maintain the longevity and availability of all tributes, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We recommend users maintain personal backups of their tribute content.
9. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Self-service account deletion is not currently available. If account-deletion or retention workflows are added later, these Terms will be updated before they are offered.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the appropriate courts within the United States.
11. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
